What test do you believe sets apart truechampion?
Times of adversity. Things like – shortness of cash and having to make a plan from a very young age to find money to even enter the race & unavoidable bike problems – you know when you have to push to get back into the pits for what is a lifetime – exhausted & frustrated but … you fix your bike and carry on because passion drives you. Also injury comebacks. In a nutshell – determination and perseverance.
“I enjoy highly technical riding - rocks, logs, off cambers, hill-climbing, river crossings and ruts. Throw a bit of rain into the mix just before a race - and I am ready. The tougher – the better. I participated in Foot-up Trials at a young age and guess that the riding terrain in this area has served to my advantage in technical and endurance riding.
